Craig Murdoch, founder of RUSH Courier Services, is determined to make a difference. His vision is for RUSH to become a leader in providing environmentally friendly transport solutions, through their UK sameday, nextday and international courier facilities.

Craig is proud of their deadline commitment policy and personalised customer service, but what really sets them apart is their use of LPG (liquid petroleum gas) vehicles wherever possible. "My goal is to have all my vehicles LPG, while supplying above industry standard service levels," Even though LPG vehicles consume more gas, and cost more, Craig is adamant about sticking to the overall objective.
RUSH has adopted an environmentally friendly workflow. This means using recycled packaging, reusing non-biodegradable materials (i.e. bubble wrap), going paperless by sending invoices via email, recycling used paper.

If we all do a little something, it will make a big difference, Craig believes. "We can't change what we do, but only how we do it," which even involves educating his customers and suppliers. "It's glocal," Craig insists, "thinking global, but acting local."
